At Dorothy’s Helping Hands, Inc in Atlanta, GA, our mission is deeply rooted in empathy and compassion. We aim to make a positive difference by extending a helping hand to individuals facing hardships, empowering them to achieve long-term independence.
Our community food pantry was founded on October 7, 2013, in honor of our late mother and grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Caldwell. As a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, recognized by the state of Georgia and the IRS, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for homeless and low-income families in the Metro Atlanta area. We believe everyone deserves a chance to thrive and succeed, regardless of their circumstances.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who support our mission and enable us to make a positive impact in the community. Together, we strive to create a more compassionate and inclusive world for those who need it most.
